The alarm clock functions only when in USB power mode. When using battery power, the screen will automatically turn off after 16 seconds. To ensure the digital clock only displays the time, you can press and hold the "MODE" button while in temperature mode. This will cycle the display through the time, date, and temperature, and then allow you to set the clock to show the time exclusively.

If the display brightness is too high, you can adjust it to one of three levels by pressing the "UP" button. Additionally, you can long-press the "snooze" button for more than 3 seconds to turn off the screen completely. After entering the snooze mode, any key press will reactivate the display.

It's important to note that the package does not include an AC adapter; only a USB cable is provided. However, a 5V, 1A or 2A plug is compatible with this alarm clock.

Remember, as mentioned earlier, the screen will not always stay on when the device is battery-powered, unlike when it is connected to the plug-in power supply.
